3D Hole in the Wall Decals: Smashed Brick, Cracked Plaster and Broken Boards With Your Picture Inside
The hole in the wall is the classic portal decal: a ragged gap smashed through the bricks, the plaster cracked back in a ring around it, a few boards snapped and hanging, and a whole other place on the far side. The ones sold on Etsy and Amazon show the same forest or the same castle in every house. Here the far side is your picture: a beach you photographed, a city you made with the image generator, your dog, a character from your comic stepping out through the rubble.
The wall breaks come in brick, cracked white plaster, smashed concrete, broken wooden boards, ancient stone, torn drywall and ripped steel, most of them in square, landscape and portrait. A scene is cropped into the hole with the broken edge's shadow falling across it, so it reads as depth; a person or a pet is cut out of its background and climbs out over the edge. Every frame has a master about 4K across, so a hole a metre wide still has crisp brick edges.
It is printed as a peel-and-stick wall sticker cut to the shape of the break: no white border, no rectangle. The sticker stops where the broken bricks stop, and your real wall carries on around it, which is what sells the illusion. Hold it up to a photo of your own wall first, and add a debris kit of loose bricks and plaster chunks on the floor below if you want the mess to spill out.

What you can do
- Brick, plaster, concrete, boards, ancient stone, drywall and torn steel breaks
- Square, landscape and portrait versions of most breaks, or the shape of your own picture
- A scene seen through the hole, or a cut-out character climbing out of it
- Cut to the shape of the break: no white border, no rectangle
- Debris kits: loose bricks, plaster chunks and splinters as separate stickers to scatter below
How it works
- Bring a picture, or make one with the image generator.
- Pick the break (brick, plaster, boards...) and its shape; the picture is set into it at once, free.
- Check it on a photo of your own wall and click where the hole goes.
- Order the cut wall sticker in the size you want, with a debris kit if you like.
Frequently asked questions
Will it really look like a hole in my wall?
From a few steps away, yes. The broken edge carries the depth and its shadow falls onto your picture, and because the sticker is cut to the shape of the break, your own wall surrounds it with no border. A matt wall and a picture with a clear far distance (a landscape, a street, a sky) give the strongest effect.
Can a character come out of the hole instead of a view?
Yes. A person, a pet or a drawn character is cut out of its background and placed so it climbs out over the broken edge, with the inside of the hole dark, glowing or see-through behind it.
What are the debris stickers?
A debris kit is a sheet of loose pieces cut as separate stickers (bricks, plaster chunks, splinters) that you scatter on the wall and skirting below the hole, so it looks as if the wall has just come down.
Can I take it off again?
The wall sticker is peel-and-stick vinyl made for painted walls. As with any wall vinyl, test a small corner first on fresh or flaking paint.
