Retrieval is semantic: entries are recalled because the scene is about them, not because a keyword happened to match. And memory is automatic: as you play, the engine writes short durable notes — people, debts, plot threads — into a Story Memory journal, each stamped with the turn it came from.
Build world guide lorebooks by typing, uploading documents, or pasting URLs, or let the AI brainstorm one with you. Scenario authors can ship lorebooks with their adventures, so players get the world knowledge automatically. During play, each reply shows exactly which entries were remembered.
The memory journal is yours to audit: view every note, add your own, delete or restore, and pin the facts the story must never forget — pinned memories are always injected first. When a newer fact supersedes an older one, the old note is retired (and restorable), and memory stays consistent when you reroll, edit, or undo turns. Long stories compress with ReZero and the memory carries over.
