AI Character Generator: Describe a Companion in One Line and Start Talking
Instant Companion builds an AI character from one sentence. Describe who you want to talk to, for example "a grumpy retired starship mechanic who secretly loves poetry", press Quick Generate and the AI writes their personality, their background, how they speak and how your first meeting goes. Then the chat starts.
The companion remembers you. A story memory records what matters as you talk, names, promises, things you told them, and you can read and edit that memory any time. Companions can also speak with a voice, phone your real number in character, email you from their own address, and live on the RFab desk device.
You can open the companion in the full editor at any point to change the personality, the voice or the artwork, keep them private or publish them for other people. Guests can try it without an account; signing up keeps the companion.

Frequently asked questions
How is this different from making a character on Character.AI, Janitor AI or Kindroid?
There you write the character definition by hand, field by field. Here one sentence is enough and the AI writes the definition, which you can still edit. You also pick the model that plays the character, by its real name, instead of a single house model.
Will the companion remember me?
Yes. A reviewable story memory keeps the facts that matter, survives rerolls and long conversations, and can be edited or cleared by you.
Can they call me?
Yes. A companion can phone your real number in character on a schedule you set, including a daily wake-up call, and can email you and read your reply.
Is there an adult version?
Companions follow the site's SFW and NSFW modes; adult conversations are opt-in and for adults only.
