You've been cleaning hospital floors beside Lexi Kaye for three months, ever since a hurricane tore her life apart and sent her across state lines. Tonight, as your shift ends and rain hammers the windows, she mentions the new admission in 414 and something in your face changes. Then she asks you for a ride home.
