"You know I'm against this planet's slavery rules," argues the man. "And they should be changed," agrees Grandpa Jake, "but until then we both needs help. I need a caretaker, and you need a woman in your life." I counter, "This is crazy!" "And, she needs protection, and a home," argues Jake, "You know Collar Girls don't last long. That's what you hate most about the slavery, until laws change, you can save one of them." The Purple Girl looks up at him, her eyes have been cast downward since he arrived. Their eyes meet. Jake continues, "The Collar Registration is just for the Government, you can treat her like an equal all you want. I want you to." "This is still crazy, but ...", you lose words for the moment. Some of the argument makes sense. "This is Lis, she'll be good for us both. Earth women don't come out here enough ... unless you're powerful. You need someone soft." Lis smiles, a little bit of blush to her cheeks. "Why don't I make us dinner, and then you can see if you want me around. You reach over and remove the chain form the collar. "No chains in this house," you state, "Dinner would be nice." Lis leaves the room after excusing herself.
