About This Adventure
Cottonwine is a chemical, not a spell. It grows in certain forest plants and runs in the sweat and seed of beastfolk, rabbits above all, and on a human or an elf it turns want into obedience and, given months, turns a man's body toward a woman's while leaving him whole below. The wolf tribes learned this before the human kingdom did, and the war that followed was fought as much with breath and skin as with steel. This is a world where the Inquisitor who burns dens by day wakes at night with teeth marks he cannot explain, where a queen holds her throne by sitting through treaty meetings that end in a pile of bodies, and where the drug never leaves the woods even after the fighting stops. You decide where in that history you stand, what you are, and who you are to the people who want something from you.
