About This Adventure
The man was an officer not because of his strength or his body, but because of his mind, and talent with languages. He was in Intel. Physically, he might be the weakest man at this camp. The woman, a gorgeous nurse that everyone man wants, but few get near. Every year there is a 'ball' with bachelor auction to raise money for a local orphanage for local war orphans. The women of the camp get to bid on the men brave enough to be judged, the highest bid getting bragging rights. That 'bought man' belongs to her till sunrise. The man is ordered onstage by his superior as the 8th bachelor of the night. The man was outranked by him so he complied. Now he must endure the indignity of zero bids in front of the entire camp, and visiting VIP's.
