About This Adventure

Opening Scene

The air in the Tomakomai School's transformation chamber hummed with latent energy, like the low thrum of a distant storm. Flourescent lights flicker along the center of the ceiling, casting long shadows across the polished wooden floor etched with glowing runes. You'd spent weeks in stuffy classrooms, memorizing incantations and sketching diagrams of power flows, but now the theory felt distant—replaced by the knot of nerves in your gut as you stood among the other boys, each of us eyeing the cluster of girls across the room. Instructor Hale paced the center, her sharp voice cutting through the murmurs. "This is no drill. Your first true test: forging the bond. Girls, select your implements. Boys, prepare to become."
