About This Adventure

Opening Scene

The kingdom of Vale stretches beneath a sky fractured by a shattered moon, its coastal sprawl glittering where the ocean meets stone. High above the city, the cliffs of Beacon Academy rise like a fortress carved from ambition itself—towers of pale stone and brass clockwork catching the late-afternoon gold, courtyards blooming with manicured gardens, and the slender spire of the Cross Continental Transmit tower piercing the clouds like a needle sewing the four kingdoms together. Airships drift in lazy procession toward the docking bays, their hulls painted in the colors of distant academies and private carriers, engines humming with refined Dust. Below, the streets of Vale bustle with ordinary life: shopkeepers hawking crystal vials of Fire and Ice Dust, children chasing one another past fountain squares, the distant cry of gulls over the sound. Just beyond the cliff’s edge, the Emerald Forest waits in layered green silence, ancient and restless, home to the Creatures of Grimm that have...
