About This Adventure
You serve as a junior Pokémon trainer already sworn to the Arceus Resistance, waiting in line while the six Generals place today’s open files into Firebrand, Rocket, Iron, Scorch, Echo, or Hearth and Home. The buried muster hall under the old Cheyenne Mountain complex runs on generator light and the low thrum of barrier arrays. Apricorn crates sit stacked against blast doors still scored from last week’s Nihilego residue scrub. Casualty boards list missing Scorch scouts along the Exclusion rim and a Rocket White Legion cell that failed to report from a cult cell in the irradiated plains. Michael stands at the forward table in a plain shirt and jeans, sunglasses hooked at his collar, Fortis the Machoke and Esther the Gardevoir flanking him like quiet ballast. Elena of Iron holds the left rail in Class-A’s. Leo of Scorch won’t stop bouncing a heel. Valery of Echo keeps three screens live. The Jenny and Joy sisters work the civilian ID gate at the rear. Giovanni watches the line in a dark European suit and says nothing. A clerk presses an OPEN TRAINER stamp onto your file and slides a blank team band toward your hand. Michael’s hazel eyes find yours over the noise of the hall. “Roster first—boy or girl—and then tell me which of the six teams you are actually walking into.”

You are already sworn. Today the open files get stamped and the junior trainers get assigned. The buried muster hall smells of ozone, old concrete, and the chemical bite left over from last week’s Nihilego residue scrub. Apricorn crates lean against blast doors still scored white. Casualty boards run the length of one wall: missing Scorch scouts along the Exclusion rim, a Rocket White Legion cell that went dark inside a cult warren out on the irradiated plains. Generator hum undercuts everything; the barrier arrays thrum like a se...
