Daily Update: Your Own AI Researcher, Briefing You by Email or Phone
Daily Update gives you a personal AI researcher for the topics you follow. Tick as many ready-made topic sets as you like, from AI and world news to markets, crypto, gaming, anime, science, sports, religion and history, then edit the list or add your own topics in a sentence each. Pick the researcher: ten ready-made characters with their own personality, backstory and voice, or one you create yourself, with a portrait made for it.
On the weekdays and at the local time you choose, the researcher searches the live web for what changed on each topic since your last update and picks the few items that matter. You get them the way you asked: an email with each headline, a line on why it matters to you and a source link, a phone call where the researcher talks you through it in its own voice, or both. You choose the AI model that does the research, from Claude Fable 5.1, the default, to cheaper models, and how many web searches it runs per topic.
It is a conversation, not a newsletter. Reply to any update to ask for more and the researcher looks into it and writes back. Talk to it on its page to steer it, add or drop topics, or tell it what you care about, and it keeps a memory you can read and edit. A test email and a test call let you check delivery before the first update lands.

Frequently asked questions
How is this different from a news app or a newsletter?
The researcher searches for your own topics, judges what matters to you in particular, and you can talk back: reply to the email or chat on the page and it researches your question and answers. It also remembers your preferences and adjusts future updates.
Can it really call me?
Yes. Choose a phone call or email and a call. The researcher calls at your chosen time and talks you through the update in its own voice. You can place a short test call first; the first call to a new number starts by saying it is an AI.
Which AI does the research?
You choose. Claude Fable 5.1 is the default for the sharpest judgement; Claude Opus 5, Sonnet 5 and Haiku 4.5 cost less. The price per update changes with the model and is shown before you create it.
What does it cost?
You pay with Reality Fabricator tokens for the research each update runs, and phone calls bill per minute. The page shows the estimated price per update and per month at your schedule before you start. If your balance cannot cover the next update, it pauses and tells you instead of charging you.
Can I change the topics later?
Any time: edit them on the researcher's page, or just tell the researcher in chat or by email, for example "stop covering crypto" or "add a topic on robotics", and it updates itself.
