Turn a Picture or a Prompt Into a Rigged, Animated 3D Model
3D Studio makes a 3D model from a single image or a text prompt, then walks it through a staged pipeline. First you get the mesh. Then you can add AI-generated PBR textures, run automatic rigging so the model has a skeleton, and apply preset motions such as a walk cycle to make it move. You can also upload a model you already have and take it through the same stages.
It suits people who need a usable asset rather than a viewer demo: game developers who want a GLB or FBX for their engine, anyone building an AR experience who needs USDZ for iPhone quick look, and makers who want an STL or 3MF file for a 3D printer. Each stage is priced separately and charged when you start it, so you pay only for the steps you actually use. If a model fails the rigging pre-check, the rigging charge is refunded.
Every stage is also available through the same API. A machine-readable capabilities catalog and a per-model list of the actions valid right now let developers and AI agents drive the whole pipeline without opening the browser.

What you can do
- Generate a 3D mesh from any image or text prompt, or upload your own model
- AI PBR texturing adds materials and surface detail to a bare mesh
- Automatic rigging gives the model a skeleton ready for animation
- Preset motion animation, including a walk cycle, applied to the rigged model
- Export GLB and FBX for game engines, USDZ for AR, OBJ, STL and 3MF for printing
- Same pipeline through an API with a machine-readable capabilities catalog
How it works
- Upload an image, type a prompt, or bring your own model to create the base mesh.
- Add AI textures, then auto-rig the model so it has a skeleton.
- Pick a preset motion to animate it and preview the result in the browser.
- Export in the format you need: GLB, FBX, OBJ, USDZ, STL or 3MF.
Frequently asked questions
What can I export from 3D Studio?
GLB and FBX for game engines, OBJ, USDZ for AR quick look on iPhone, and STL or 3MF for 3D printing. Export is a pipeline stage you run on a finished model, priced like the other stages, and you can export the same model in more than one format.
Do I have to run every stage?
No. Each stage is separate. You can stop at a bare mesh, add textures only, or go on to rig and animate. Each step is priced on its own and charged when you start it, so a model you never rig costs nothing for rigging.
What if my model cannot be rigged?
Rigging starts with a pre-check. If the check finds the model unsuitable, the rig stage does not proceed and the rigging charge is refunded to your balance. Textures and exports still work on the unrigged mesh.
Can I automate the pipeline?
Yes. The same routes that power the studio are the developer API. A capabilities endpoint describes every stage, and each model reports the exact actions valid for it right now with their costs, so a script or an AI agent can drive it end to end.
Can I start from a model I already have?
Yes. Upload your own model and take it through texturing, rigging, animation and export in the same way as a generated one. The stage rail shows which steps are available for the model you loaded.
