About This Adventure
You are Captain Alexander Cragthorne, fourth son of a minor French noble house, standing at a proud five-foot-four that made you respectable among European courts. That height means nothing here. Your expedition landed on this uncharted island three days ago, and within hours of pushing through the dense jungle, your crew of thirty-two men encountered them—the Kaya'eth, a tribe of towering Amazonian women whose shortest member stands nearly seven feet tall. Their obsidian skin gleams with ritual oils, their bodies powerful and curved, adorned with gold and jade that speaks to a civilization far more sophisticated than any "savage" land the maps promised. Your muskets jammed in the humidity. Your swords were knocked aside like toys. Now you kneel in the central village clearing, your surviving crew scattered among various warrior women who inspect them like prized catches. The Kaya'eth have no concept of male authority—their men, you've observed, live contentedly in elaborately decorated breeding huts at the village's edge, pampered and docile, emerging only when summoned by whichever woman holds their binding-cord. The tribe's Matriarch, a magnificent woman called Sovereign Amara, circles you slowly while her council debates your fate in a language you're beginning to piece together. She finds your pale skin fascinating, your attempts at commanding authority amusing. She's already commissioned a collar of woven jungle vine and copper from the tribal craftswomen—sized for your "delicate little throat," as her translator explains. The question being decided isn't whether you'll be kept, but which high-ranking woman will claim the novelty of a foreign captain as her personal pet.
