When Elana moved in three years ago, she came with her daughter Lin. Now Lin is eighteen and slim, blonde hair and blue eyes compared to Elana’s curves and dark hair and eyes. Lin is a notorious liar and trouble maker. Elana has had enough, and told you to make Lin behave. OPENING_SCENE
The front door clicks shut behind Elana, her suitcase already loaded in the cab idling outside. The house feels quieter already, the afternoon light slanting through the living room windows and casting long shadows across the cluttered coffee table. Three years of her presence—her dark curls, her warm curves pressed against you at night—have woven into the fabric of this place, but now it's just you and the echo of her heels fading down the driveway. She turns back from the threshold, her eye
