I'd like to design a cassette-futurism/retro-futurist 1990s tech level mecha. It's about 15 feet tall, and about 10 feet from chest to back and 10 feet from shoulder to shoulder. This mecha is a bipedal design, and aesthetically, it has the vibe of an American M60 main battle tank. The torso, especially the front is angular like an M60, and retains the driver's hatch of an M60 tank. Atop the torso is a "head" unit that houses the mechs cameras in addition to a pair of M2 machine guns. The camera unit is armored, and uses the same parts used in the nose camera of an Apache helicopter. Past the head on the back side of the torso is a combined diesel engine/electric generator used to power the mecha. In place of a right arm in a 105mm smothebore autoloading cannon. It's capable of moving up, down, left, and right via an armored and Kevlar wrapped hydraulic system. The breach of the cannon houses an ammunition magazine and spent shells are ejected out the right side of the canno
